Coins of the World
An information guide to help you sell coin jewelry
Coin jewelry is a unique product in that the setting is either 14 or 18 karat gold and the coin is pure gold, platinum or silver. This enables the customer to both wear a piece of jewelry and invest in a precious metal. There are two types of coins. Numismatic coins are usually very old and scarce and are valued by their limited mintage, rarity, condition and age. Most numismatic coins are sold through coin dealers or collectors. Bullion coins are generally valued by weight in a specific precious metal. Most coins used for coin jewelry are bullion coins. Some bullion coins can also become rare and sell for more than their precious metal contents. The purpose of the information below is to give you a brief understanding of the more popular bullion coins being shown in coin jewelry today.
